Laos and Alma

Greetings from Luang Prabang, Laos. This is a beautiful country with beautiful people. I arrived in Luang Prabang by a two day boat trip down the Mekong from Thialand - a memorable and relaxing trip.

Meanwhile, half way around the world, my business partner has our 2009 staff is in place and we are ready to begin our new season in Alma.

It will be an exciting summer, with 3 returning staff and one new member. Our guests will be well served by this enthusiastic and capable group.

On the Move

Winter is still upon us and for the most part it has been colder than usual. But our guides are in place and bookings are coming for the 2009 season - despite the terrible economy. So we will be ready to start the new season in May. Meanwhile I am off Tuesday to Thailand and Laos for a month of traveling before the season starts.
