Fundy in October

Most of our visitors have disappeared, the October leaves are just fading and those that hike in Fundy National Park - do it in solutide. This past weekend I spent time at our home base - cleaning refrigerators and doing general prepartaion for the winter. But I did take time to spend some time on the trails in Fundy National Park. The 8 km loop of Laverty Falls and Moosehorn combined water falls, fast flowing rivers and a bit of a climb - spectacular at all time but especially in the fall when the rivers are full.

Tomorrow I head to Ontario on a best practice mission and on my return I will be preparing for a month in New Zealand. More hiking and kayaking!

Until next time.
